The book “The Annotator: Personality and Classic” (hereinafter referred to as “The Annotator”) taught by Sun to Chen put forward a new philosophical concept of understanding China’s modern process, namely the idea of ​​”double body” represented by “personality” and “classicity”. It has differences with other related words that have appeared and practiced, such as the destruction of the nation and the salvation of the nation, the reaction and the old, the state and the individual, the capitalist and the socialist, the ancient and the present, and even the separation of the unrestricted and the old, because it will be different The core of the philosophical philosophy is directly marked, and it has differentiated the relationship between the two (such as from a single pure opposition to a mutual opposition), clarifying some of the confusions on it, and finally “protruding” the problem of “home” to the level of “original discussion”. One of the bulging manifestations is that Heidegger’s “existence in the living world” rationally and reasonably transforms it into “existence in the living generation”, [1] making the time of home a serious philosophical theme short-term cultivation.

 

This article will make some comments on the double sub-item of “The Annotator” and put forward differences of opinions, thus leading to discussions on the original location of the home and its components. The Annotator pointed out that the physical principles of modernity do not contain moral meanings. The most basic principle of modernity is “family” (who loves you starts with parents, descendants, brothers and sisters) or “family is big”. [2] It is not only a “character of civilization”, but also an ultimate essence, and an unrealistic source of Confucian morality. Therefore, “‘home’ has a natural theory in the tradition of Chinese civilization, and ‘filial piety’ is the focus of the ‘home’ that connects generations.” [2] This shows that the beginning of Chinese civilization is the true root and “focus value” of Confucianism. [2] Clear the boundary line from the contemporary new Confucian mainstream and even the direction of the Song and Ming dynasties that need to be ambiguous and lost.

 

The “Aboutique” is the proposition that to realize a sound modern Chinese civilization, the above two independent bodies are necessary. Don’t think about “grafting the connotation of the first ‘body’ into another ‘body’.” [2] Although their specific manifestations in history and reality have their own limitations, or their own shortcomings beyond their seriousness, they all have their own positions of inability to move. “Personal importance” has become “a wide value shared by humans”, [2] and “Personal importance” is “the foundation of the ethical system in Chinese tradition”. [2] If they can stand together, they can overcome their shortcomings and strengthen their strengths, and cultivate a “solid and complete modern society.” 【2】

 

The Advocate of “The Annotation” has his own wisdom, especially the two focus values ​​of “being big”, that is, the original position of Confucianism and modern (and future) China – is unique to the former, while the latter is the first of the two needs, and has made outstanding achievements from multiple angles, which can be said to be a wise eye and a glimpse of the clouds. It no longer tries to match chicken tails of various values, criticize this side and receive that side, but instead adheres to two principles or values ​​that are sufficient in color to give people a sense of neatness.

 

However, only using double-purpose theory to illustrate modern China, it seems that it is not yet complete. “The Annotator” talks about the double failure of these two principles in modern China. “In today’s China, the ‘individual’ has not been truly established, and the ‘family’ is constantly falling.” [2] Then we can ask: Which principle takes the initiative? To sum up, it is “group”, one that seems to be a higher level and beyond. In fact, the proposal of the “personal” principle in history is not important to “family”, but to “groups”, which can be expressed as churches, institutions, parties, countries, or the ideology they represent. The bias of the plots such as “New Youth” is not to put forward individual principles, but to point it to the family or to represent its tradition. [2] This kind of strategy that has always been in a misfortune and has never been consistent, has always been followed.

 

In this way, there are not only two bodies, but three, namely, individual bodies, homes and groups. In this three-body structure, individuals and groups occupy two extremes, and they were regarded as real by Eastern traditional philosophy in various ways; while family or relatives are definitely not this kind of reality, they are just the body, and they are the doubling source of the two. From the perspective of the actual career experience in life and history or “work yourself”, in these three bodies, as long as the home is self-sufficient and originated. What is the philosophical component of the “home” from Oriental Philosophy? This problem can be examined through the perspective of comparing Chinese and Western philosophies. Regarding the ultimate existence, among the influential encyclopedia of Eastern traditional philosophy, some think it is a number, some think it is rational or fantasy, some think it is a body, some think it is the highest person entity (god), some think it is the subject (can be expressed as a national body in political philosophy), some think it is a matter, some think it is aI think it’s a feeling.
